Tyrone Perez was found dead at the backseat of a black Toyota Altis parked along the service road of the North Luzon Expressway in the vicinity of Barangay Ugong, Valenzuela.
Perez died of a gunshot wound on the right side of his head from a caliber .22 firearm. The gun was found beside his body. Tyron Perez is only 26 years old.
Tyron Perez lives in Parañaque and reportedly spent Christmas holidays with a close friend in Barangay Ugong. The cause of death is still unknown.

Tyron Perez tied the knot with his non-showbiz girlfriend Liv Espino last May 27, 2009 in a simple civil wedding.
During the "Traverse Ilocos Sur adventure challenge" last December 17, 2011 Pep asked him on what his christmas plans were, "Wala pang plano dahil may trabaho. Magkalayo kasi kami, e. Flight attendant siya, e." He also added "Ang mas naging maganda sa amin, sobrang miss na miss mo ang pagkakataon na makasama mo siya. Hindi tulad ng magkasama kayo every day, medyo nawawala, hindi na gano'n kasaya. May ganun, e."

Police said they are looking at the possibility that the wound may have been self-inflicted. Investigations are still ongoing.
