Mobile phone area codes in the Philippines are composed of three digits and always start with the number 9.

Originally, there were only three prefixes or area codes used for mobile phones: 917 for Globe Telecom, 918 for Smart Communications and 973 for Express Telecom, the three existing mobile companies at the time.

As service grew rapidly throughout the 1990s and even until today, existing codes have been exhausted and new codes have been added to fulfill demand. Source: Wikipedia

GMA's DOCTORS DILEMMA

FLASH NEWS: CGMA doctors are expected to attend court hearing in Pasay City RTC 112 today November 25, 2011. Media and security personnels are starting to fill-up the courtroom.

GMA's doctors at St. Luke's medical center are facing a dilemma to fake or not to fake GMA's actual medical status.

Judge Mupas will decide today whether CGMA stays in St Luke's or moved to police custody at Southern Police District.

Arroyo’s physicians at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Taguig City were torn between adhering to the doctor-patient privilege and disclosing the actual state of her health.

Doctors attending to former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo reportedly refused at one point to sign a medical certificate prepared by her lawyers.

One of the doctors even suggested that Arroyo be moved to another hospital, said a high government official who spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitive nature of the case.

For God's sake GMA's room @ St. Luke Medical Center cost P 50,000 a day. Pwera pa ng medicines at doctor's fee. Ordinary Juan could not even get that kind of money in 6 months. Because of all the taxes and deductions on their salaries. Bakit mo naman pinapalipat dok? Sayang naman kikitain ninyo.

GMA is already fine. But the doctors are facing a dilemma on whether they can release this information because they are being prevented from doing so.

What else is new? People with so much money and used to have so much power always resort to lies so they can run away from justice. Lulusot at lulusot yan.

10 Ways to Improve Memory

10 Ways to Improve Memory
1. Exercise Regularly. Studies shows that aerobic fitness may reduce the loss of brain tissue during aging.

2. Stick to a Healthy Diet. Avoid sugar and saturated fats. Eat lots of antioxidant-rich fruits and vegetables, such as spinach and beets. The magnesium in dark green, leafy vegetables appears to help maintain your memory.

3. Learn New Things. Mastering activities you’ve never done before, such as playing the piano or learning a foreign language, stimulates neuron activity.

4. Get Enough Sleep. Too little sleep impairs concentration.

5. Devise Memory Strategies. Make notes or underline key passages to help you remember what you’ve read. Invent your own mneumonics for remembering things.

6. Socialize. Conversation, especially positive, meaningful interaction, helps maintain brain function.

7. Get Organized. Designate a place for important items such as keys and checkbooks. Keep checklists for things such as daily medications or items to pack when you travel.

8. Turn Off the Box. Experts say too much TV watching weakens your brainpower.

9. Jot Down New Information. Writing helps transfer items from short to long term memory.

10. Solve Brainteasers. Crossword puzzles, card games, and board games such as Scrabble improve your memory.

Drink Water on an Empty Stomach Health Benefits

We all know that drinking 8 glasses of water per day is good for the health

This article which has 56K share on facebook can give you enough details why you really need to drink water everyday specifically in the morning during an empty stomach

You have nothing to lose if you try this out because we really need to drink water daily

This article can help you maximize the health effect by following the method of treatment.

One disadvantage is  frequent urination.

To keep you reminded put a note in your refrigerator door.

Read the whole article below:
"Drink water on empty stomach"
DRINK WATER ON EMPTY STOMACH

It is popular in Japan today to drink water immediately after waking up every morning. Furthermore, scientific tests have proven its value. We publish below a description of use of water for our readers.

For old and serious diseases as well as modern illnesses the water treatment had been found successful by a Japanese medical society as a 100% cure for the following diseases:

Headache, body ache, heart system, arthritis, fast heart beat, epilepsy, excess fatness, bronchitis asthma, TB, meningitis, kidney and urine diseases, vomiting, gastritis, diarrhea, piles, diabetes, constipation, all eye diseases, womb, cancer and menstrual disorders, ear nose and throat diseases.

METHOD OF TREATMENT
1. As you wake up in the morning before brushing your teeth, drink 4 x 160ml glasses of water.

2. Brush and clean the mouth but do not eat or drink anything for 45 minutes.

3. After 45 minutes you may eat and drink as normal.

4. After 15 minutes of breakfast, lunch and dinner do not eat or drink anything for 2 hours.

5. Those who are old or sick and are unable to drink 4 glasses of water at the beginning may commence by taking little water and gradually increase it to 4 glasses per day.

6. The above method of treatment will cure diseases of the sick and others can enjoy a healthy life.

The following list gives the number of days of treatment required to cure/control/reduce main diseases:

1. High Blood Pressure (30 days)
2. Gastric (10 days)
3. Diabetes (30 days)
4. Constipation (10 days)
5. Cancer (180 days)
6. TB (90 days)
7. Arthritis patients should follow the above treatment only for 3 days in the 1st week, and from 2nd week onwards – daily.

This treatment method has no side effects, however at the commencement of treatment you may have to urinate a few times.

It is better if we continue this and make this procedure as a routine work in our life. Drink Water and Stay healthy and Active.

This makes sense.  The Chinese and Japanese drink hot tea with their meals not cold water. Maybe it is time we adopt their drinking habit while eating!!!

Nothing to lose, everything to gain…

For those who like to drink cold water, this article is applicable to you.

It is nice to have a cup of cold drink after a meal. However, the cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you have just consumed. It will slow down the digestion.

Once this ‘sludge’ reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food. It will line the intestine.

Very soon, this will turn into fats and lead to cancer. It is best to drink hot soup or warm water after a meal.

A serious note about heart attacks:

· Women should know that not every heart attack symptom is going to be the left arm hurting.

· Be aware of intense pain in the jaw line.

· You may never have the first chest pain during the course of a heart attack.

· Nausea and intense sweating are also common symptoms.

· 60% of people who have a heart attack while they are asleep do not wake up.

· Pain in the jaw can wake you from a sound sleep. Let’s be careful and be aware. The more we know, the better chance we could survive.

A cardiologist says if everyone who gets this mail sends it to everyone they know, you can be sure that we’ll save at least one life.

Please be a true friend and share this article to all your friends you care about.
