Ramon Magsaysay Center:Bloggers, Vloggers & Entrepreneurs Inspire Life

"Our primary purpose in life is to help and inspire others"

Bloggers, Vloggers & Entrepreneurs Inspire Life in a small gathering held at Donburimix Ramon Magsaysay Basement, Ramon Magsaysay Center Roxas Boulevard corner Quintos Street Malate, Manila

Many of us don't have an inkling what is really our primary purpose in life up until this very moment. Lucky are those people like ate Juliet Zapanta Cruz and the entrepreneurs who presented their businesses at the Vloggers explore Manila event. Why?  Primarily because they are so passionate about helping others through their respective businesses.

Others say that one should never do business with friends. Because the friends you treasure might turn into an enemy because of some business issues that might hurt the friendship along the way.

Is it alright to do business with friends? Know the answer by watching the video below:

During the event these businessmen unselfishly shared their ups and downs. Including their own experiences when they were starting out both here in the Philippines and abroad. They tirelessly answered all the questions thrown their way.

I also learned that it was also the very first time that the vloggers had the opportunity to meet each other personally. Happy to have met some of you guys and gals. I am too old and too shy to mingle and meet everyone but I treasure those who took the time to get to know me when I was sitting by my lonesome in the table near the food and drinks section ha ha ha! #AlamNaThis joke. I only ate California Maki (my favorite) and one milk tea 'coz I am on a diet. I learned a lot from you guys! Grabe! Saludo ako sa galing at pagtutulungan ninyo at sa pagbibigay ninyong vlogging tips sa akin. Sa uulitin. Thank you guys! I really appreciate your help and inputs sa tulad ko na walang alam at masasabing newbie sa editing at vlogging.

MG Pineda of Bacolod is very nice and provided entertainment to the delight of everyone. She is a resident in Australia and a business owner/singer rolled into one. Thank you, Mg! We had so much fun listening to your wonderful voice.

Ate Juliet Zapanta Cruz wears so many hats. She is a very good emcee, wife, mother, entrepreneur, blogger now also a Vlogger and a talent manager. She never ceases to amaze me!  ❤️ Thank you so much for the opportunity to be inspired.

RUSSIA: Free E-Visa For Filipino Passport Holders

amus getty image

We, Filipinos can now visit Saint Petersburg and the Leningrad region with a free e-visa for a stay of up to eight (8) days.

Russia recently announced that it will offer the e-visa privilege for Filipinos to enter Saint Petersburg and the Leningrad region starting October 1, 2019.

The e-visa is free and is a single-entry visa, which will be valid for 30 days from the date it is issued. Filipinos with an e-visa are allowed to stay in the Russian Federation for up to 8 days, starting from the day of entry and within the visa's validity period.

The visa's validity and number of days allowed in the country cannot be extended, the Russian government said. The allowed period of 8 days, it added, will start at midnight of the day of entry through passport control and not the actual time of passage.

Reminder for travelers: Russia also reminded travelers that they should leave the country "only through checkpoints of the constituent entity of the Russian Federation which they entered."

Foreigners who enter Russia with e-visas are also required to have medical insurance valid in Russia for the entire period of their stay.

How to apply:

Filipinos interested in applying for the e-visa must fill out an application on this website no later than 4 days before their expected arrival date.

E-visa issuance notifications will be posted here no later than 4 days after applications are submitted. Invitations, hotel confirmations, and other travel documents confirming the purpose of travel are not required for the application, according to the Russian government.

E-visas are only valid for the following travel purposes:

  • Ordinary business visa
  • Ordinary tourist visa
  • Ordinary humanitarian visa (purposes of journey are sports, cultural, scientific, and technological ties)
If the purpose of travel falls outside these categories, individuals are expected to apply for a traditional visa at a diplomatic mission or consular office of the Russian Federation.

Whenever I hear the word "Russia" I can't help but remember the 007 movie "From Russia with love" Well, all I can say now is that this free e-visa is a gift from Russia with Love.(no Pun intended)

Enjoy!

Fall Foliage Drives In Northern California
It's that time of year where the ideal Sunday is spent driving along the coast, enjoying the beautiful colors of autumn foliage. Pack a picnic, grab your favorite cozy sweater and add these six Northern California routes to your fall bucket list.

Highway 395 Through Mono County
This road through the Eastern Sierras provides not only the autumn color you crave, but also breathtaking views of canyons and peaks. Stop at one of the local lakefront towns to snap some photos and enjoy a bite to eat. Mono County even publishes a fall color report so you can easily identify the prime time to take this drive.

Interstate 5 to Castle Crags State Park
This protected area features one of the state's most noticeable landmarks in its towering 6,500-foot rock formation. This Sacramento River site boasts more than 28 miles of hiking trails for adventurers who want to get up close and personal with the region's natural beauty. Make sure to keep an eye out for traffic signals, or you may need to call a red light camera lawyer.

Avenue of the Giants
See the staggering redwoods change color when you take this glorious drive through Humboldt Redwoods State Park. The 35-mile route is one of the best ways to see these iconic trees by car. After traversing the forest, you'll wind up near the south form of the Eel River, where you can have a picnic, take a swim or camp at one of 250 tent sites. This park also has more than 100 miles of trails for hikers, mountain bikers and horseback riders.

Highway 89 Through Lake Tahoe
Travel this route from South Lake Tahoe to Truckee along the Truckee River Canyon. You'll be rewarded with the site of the breathtakingly blue lake juxtaposed with the red, orange and yellow hues of fall leaves. While you're in the area, don't miss the many exciting attractions in Lake Tahoe, from outdoor recreation to gourmet fare. This is the ideal autumn weekend getaway for foliage fans, but be sure to call your traffic ticket lawyer San Francisco if you get pulled over.

Highway 70 Through Plumas National Forest
This protected area at the northern end of the Sierra Nevadas is rife with old-growth forest, providing some of the area's best local color as temperatures begin to get chilly. If you decide to make a pit stop here, you'll be rewarded with access to hiking, biking, horseback riding, camping, fishing and countless other outdoor pursuits in more than 14,000 acres.

Sugarloaf Ridge State Park
Nestled between Santa Rosa and Napa, this area reliably provides some of the most beautiful changing colors in California each and every autumn. Take the detour through Sugarloaf if you're in Sonoma County for fall colors plus an astronomical observatory, family-friendly camping, hiking, mountain biking, picnicking and horseback riding.
In general, fall foliage begins showing its colors in Northern California in late August and early September, with changes visible through late October and beyond. Higher-elevation areas will show autumn colors sooner than low-elevation areas. When you're embarking on your fall foliage sightseeing tour of Northern California, abide by traffic laws to avoid incident during your travels. If you do get a ticket, consult a Sacramento traffic ticket lawyer.

Welcome
