SENDONG'S WRATH DEVASTATED MINDANAO HELP THROUGH DONATION CENTERS

Many women and children were confirmed killed in floods and landslides spawned by Sendong in Mindanao.

According to Philippine Red Cross death toll is now 569 based on actual body count. 215 died in Cagayan de Oro, 144 in Iligan and the rest in several other southern and central provinces, including Zamboanga del Norte and Compostela Valley.

The Visayas was not spared, with the tropical storm leaving at least 22 persons dead and 14 missing in Negros Oriental.
