ANNE CURTIS: Tweets Apology to Fans

ANNE CURTIS: Tweets Apology to Fans
,
“I’m sorry if I have let my fans down…”

We all make mistakes, but not everyone owns up to them. It's unfortunate that this incident happened. But the most important thing is Anne Curtis owned up to her mistakes and apologized to the people involved.

Whether you admit it or not, it takes a lot of courage to own up to one's mistakes and apologize for one's actions. We all make mistakes but not everyone owns up to them.

Accepting responsibility for what she did is commendable.  It takes a big person to admit that they made a mistake and to say "I'm sorry." I am proud to be an Anne Curtis fan.

Good for you, Anne. Doing the honorable thing will always pay forward with reciprocity of honor.

Here is Anne Curtis-Smith’s full apology:

"Hey, everyone. I will be making my official statement now and after this, I will not be giving any interviews about this issue anymore.

I choose to do this right away because I’ve always been an open book and I don’t like to hide anything…"

"For those who have read about the issue, yes, most of it is true. I admit to that and I have apologized to all parties included immediately…

When I was told of my behavior AND the person who started all of this, due to this person’s inappropriate behavior, apologized to me too…"

"Just as I did. Which I accepted, too. I choose not to go into details because I’m not the type to ruin someone else’s name.

Now…I had been on the super popular juice cleanse for three days and attended in my bachelorette that night, had one too many drinks…"

"Which led to some of these unfortunate events. That’s why they say, “Drink in moderation.” I will charge it to experience and a lesson learned.

I’m sorry if I let any fans down…As you all see, I’m just like any other person that makes mistakes in life…"

"Thank you to everyone that has messaged me about their support. With where I am today I owe all of you my honesty. Good night."
Anne did not identify who it was who committed “inappropriate behavior.” John Lloyd Cruz, who was allegedly also drunk like Anne, was allegedly playfully flirting with Anne that night” until that incident near the comfort room.

But since the parties involved have apologized to each other already, let’s hope that the whole thing would be put to rest. After all, all’s well that ends well.

To Anne Curtis-Smith:

I'm impressed. It takes great moral fortitude, humility and courage to so graciously take responsibility for your actions and their consequences. I truly respect how you've handled this situation, Anne. Just don't do it again. Blessings to you & yours! #honor #respect #bigperson #respect begets respect.

EMPIRE SALON: For All Things Hair

EMPIRE SALON: For All Things Hair
A fantastic haircut and color are worth every penny. You see I just had my hair styled and cut by Miss Cristy of EMPIRE SALON located inside Intercontinental Hotel in Makati City.
Empire Salon hair color treatment for Cha Sy
Ms. Cristy Dizon is a London-trained stylist and the style director of Empire Salon. She's now added to my list of favorite hair stylists, probably next to my super favorite Louis Phillip Kee (LPK).

I had a great experience at Empire Salon. Ms. Cristy did an amazing layered cut to my mane. It's now more feminine, soft, and flowing.
In choosing your hair-stylist, so many factors come into play like, for example, the ones that you'll find on my checklist:
  • skill
  • reliability
  • price
  • experience
  • customer service
  • rapport
I also had a permanent hair color at Empire Salon. Rick Ablan, a salon technician, is responsible for my new hair color.
My hair was always the wash-and-wear type. I rarely go to a salon for my hair color. I usually do it myself. It turned out that my choice of color to cover my grey hair is a big no no! That's why the staff of Empire Salon had to do a strand test and a color correction. Rick, the one who took care of my hair color, was ably assisted by an amiable staff of Empire Salon. Please remember that the best hair color must be oil-based so that there would be minimal damage to your hair.
The Place: I think the salon is small compared to LPK but it has adjacent exclusive private rooms available for people who value their privacy.
And you know what the best part is? The private rooms are free to use if you avail of their services from Five Thousand Pesos (Php5K) up.
Each private room is equipped with iPod and tablet for the client's exclusive use.
You could also opt to use one of the private rooms for an additional 10% if you're availing of hair cut only. Imagine the privacy and exclusivity. You won't see anyone gawking on your hair. Everyone at Empire Salon is pleasing and friendly.
Service: Service is great and professional. My hair stylist Ms. Cristy certainly knows what she was doing during the 5-6 hours for my hair color alone. By the way, they also serve unlimited iced tea.
Price: Php600-1,300 for Hair Cut

Empire Salon is clean. The front office staff is nice and courteous. The Salon carries good hair products I love. Ms. Cristy and Mr. Rick kept me informed on what they were doing to my hair and why they were doing it. All of them
, especially Ms. Suki, Ms. Cristy and Mr. Rick, gave me tips on hair care and hair styling products.
Final verdict: After the customary mirror check,  I can say I am happy with my new hair style and color.

The results are fantastic! I love how awesome my hair stylist Ms. Cristy add body to my hair just by cutting it in layers. I can see the difference in styling from ordinary salons. And my hair color is now absolutely a far cry from my pitch black hair. My new mane is a little washed-out brown with classy highlights.

Empire Salon will give you a 20% discount if you mention that you heard about them from www.travelonshoestring.com or www.pinaymanila.com.

ST. NAILS: Pampering Treat

ST. NAILS: Pampering Treat
We live in a very stressful world. And sometimes, it pays to listen to your body.

I admit that I was so stressed out the past few days that I really really wanted some pampering treat. Thank God for angels on earth like my friend Vanna and Carol who gifted me with a pampering treat at St. Nails in Ayala corner Dasmarinas Village Makati City.

Note: St. Nails Gift certificate is a perfect gift for your family and friends this holiday season. I think they have Gc's as low as Php 400 pesos up. Maybe you could give them a call and inquire about it.
I was so impressed with the homey feel of St. Nails. Noticeable are the dimmed lights, comfortable chairs and friendly staff.  The staff even served me with a glass of hot tea. I even saw one of the staff put a herbal pillow on the back of another customer. She forgot to ask me if I also want one for my tired back. Well, maybe you should request for one if you try out their service. I tell you I had a very sound sleep. Their place is perfect for relaxation.
After I chose my preferred color for my gel manicure and pedicure, the process began. The Nail technician submerged my hands and feet in a warm water solution.
Then she began cleaning my nails. Tired and stressed out,  I dozed off to dreamlandia after that. Ha ha ha!
I love the end result.
Look at my Gel nail polish color. It made my skin looks fairer.
I chose blue gel nail polish because this color works well with outfits containing various colors.
Remember, no matter what length of nails you have, the key to a nice nail is proper filing, so take the time to make your nails shapely and clean.
Thanks to the St. Nails staff for making my visit a relaxing one.
St. Nails provides free parking and free wi-fi connectivity for their customers. Awesomeness! That is so high tech!
Saint Nails also offers party packages where you can reserve the entire place. I am so thrilled when I learned about this information because I would love a spa party for myself and my whole barkada soon.

I wish that this coming Christmas, which is just around the corner, an angel will once again treat me to a pampering treat at St. Nails. Ha ha ha! #wish #ChristmasGift

What are you waiting for? Pamper Yourself From Head to Toe and visit St. Nails at the Ground Floor of NFB Building (Petron Gas Station/ UCC Cafe), EDSA corner Arnaiz Avenue, Barangay Dasmarinas, 1221 Makati (02) 586 0985 / (0917) 86 NAILS [62457]

This is located within the Petron Gas Station along EDSA Makati just across Dusit Thani Hotel.

Operation Hours are from Mon - Sun: 10:00 am - 11:00 pm

Free Parking if you avail of their services.

Welcome
