All of us passed this stage one way or another. If you can't relate, ikaw na! Even hunks like Xian Lim and Kean Cipriano plus pretty Kim Chiu admitted that they all passed this stage, the so called unrequited love.

Bakit nga ba hindi ka crush ng crush mo? (Why is it that your crush does not have a crush on you?)

Here are several possible answers from the author of the book (from where the title of the movie was adopted):

1. Pangit ka sa paningin niya. ( You're ugly in the other person's' eyes.)
2. Bakla siya o Tomboy siya, sorry dude hindi kayo talo. ( He is either gay or a tomboy so it's not you. It's the other person who has a problem.)
3. Wala kang kotse. ( You don't have a car.)

The three stars shared that time in their lives when they asked this very question to themselves. Bakit nga ba hindi ka crush ng crush mo? Here you go:

Kim Chiu told us that she used to play all kinds of sports just to be with her crush and she would join him everywhere, be it in school, gym or wherever he said he'll be going, only to find out he's no longer there. Like for example her crush told her he will be playing basketball at the gym, she would insist she join him and watch him play only to find out he's no longer at the gym, the location he indicated.

Xian Lim related also that he was a bit nervous whenever he saw his crush. One day he bumped into her and because he was nervous he unintentionally shouted hello to her but still the girl ignored him.

Kean Cipriano relates that when he was still a kid, he had a crush on his playmate/ neighbor in his village. He said they had a date at the seesaw playground (so he thought ). One day while playing, he asked for a time out to fix his shoe lace, then when he looked up the little girl throw the ball straight to his face. Ha ha ha! That is when he realized she doesn't like him one bit.

YENG CONSTANTINO: Happy With Her First Boyfriend 

Pop-rock singer-songwriter Yeng Constantino is on Cloud Nine nowadays. Why? Because she now has a boyfriend!

Last June 18, 2013, Yeng Constantino officially entered the world of romantic relationship for the first time. Yeng admitted being a late bloomer.

Yes, folks! It is Yeng's first ever love relationship. Unkown to many, Yeng never had a boyfriend. She actually shared with us last February that she is a member of NBSB Club. NBSB stands for No Boyfriend Since Birth. Yeng never lacked suitors though, in and outside showbiz. But she never gave in until recently and patiently waited for her GG! GG doesn't stand for Galunggong but God's Gift.

For some reason, Yan made Yeng feel so secure. Yeng decided to end her long wait for a boyfriend last June 18, 2013. Yes, that's the day she and her non-showbiz guy officially became a couple. 

“Hindi ito something na pwede kong i-pinpoint. Ang alam ko lang, ngayon lang ako hindi natakot mag-commit,” Yeng quips.

Love has inspired her all the more to give her best in everything.

The lucky guy is no other than worship director and soon to be pastor Victor ‘Yan’ Asuncion. Yen met Yan through a mutual friend last 2012 and hit it off right away. They lost touch for a while and reconnect recently when they decided to hang out again.

It turns out Cupid’s arrow found its mark on them for the first time. Yeng is also Yan’s first girlfriend.

Yeng felt so blessed. She relates that she God had showered her with HIS Blessings galore

“Iba ang feeling. Ang daming binigay ni God na blessings sa ‘kin,” she gushes.

Now, Yeng has amazed even herself at how focused she can be on the relationship.

She wants Yan to text her now and then and feels bad the first time he failed to do so (he has learned his lesson since): “Communication ang language namin.”

Yeng goes to his office at Victory Christian Fellowship Greenhills and puts chocolates on his desk. She plans to write a love song for him in her next album.

The 28-year-old Yan, courted Yeng the traditional way – by visiting her at home. That means he met and courted Yeng’s parents. Yeng enthused “Ang haba ng red hair ko!”

This is the all new hairdo and image of Charice Pempengco. The former "Glee" star said her new hairstyle and her revamped wardrobe go with the feel of her new album. Her creative team even had to brainstorm what hairdo would best fit her new image, Pempengco said.

"Basically 'yung album shoot bukas, dun na nila makikita kung sino talaga si Charice -- the wardrobe, the hair, lahat, 'yung posing. Do'n nila makikita, 'Ito pala talaga 'yung gusto niya matagal na.' Doon na lalabas sa album ko."

"Ginawa namin lahat -- nag-fitting, itong hair, 'yung black fingernails. Kumbaga all set na, pero lahat 'yun dumaan sa akin, in-approve, lahat 'yun," she said.

While her album's look is finalized, Pempengco shared she remains hard at work to finish its content. She said she is set to record three more tracks to complete her new record in time for its September release.

The 21-year-old singer, whose admission of being a lesbian made international headlines last month, underwent numerous steps to finalize her "make-over" for the release of her newest album.

"There are a couple of reasons [for the new look] -- una kasi tomorrow magkakaroon ng photo shoot para sa album ko, and second of all, siyempre since marami ding lumabas na comments na nako-compare kay Daniel Padilla, nako-compare sa ibang artists and everything," she said.

Padilla earlier addressed the comparison, saying it's been blown out of proportion. He also said he shouldn't be compared with Pempengco, citing her achievements and international success.

Pempengco, for her part, clarified Wednesday that her decision to change her hairstyle was not because she was offended by the comparison.

She said she also never intended to imitate the teen actor's hairstyle.

"Hindi [ako na-offend], syempre Daniel Padilla 'yan. Bad boy ng Pilipinas 'yan, eh. Kumbaga, nung narinig ko 'yun, nung first na nakita ko yung [comparison picture], sinearch ko, hindi ko akalain na ganun din pala 'yung hairstyle niya," Pempengco said.

Pempengco will fly to the United States before the album's launch.

"Kasi I have to go to Los Angeles to do a lot of meetings, and I have to go to Chicago to sing the national anthem, and then photoshoot, and then Germany, and I have to go back here by September to launch the new album," she said.

The singer has also plotted her career move beyond her upcoming album's release, saying she is also preparing to on her first-ever nationwide concert tour. "First time ko gagawin regional shows. Hindi ko pa nagagawa 'yun, so first time to para sa akin, I can't wait. Iikutin ko ang Pilipinas!"

Nurse Licensure Examination Result

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced today that a total of 16,219 out of 37,887 passed the Nurse Licensure Examination held last June 2-3, 2013.

Beverly Anne Felicio Balagon a graduate of Velez College (Cebu City) topped the exam, receiving a score of 87 percent.

University of Santo Tomas (UST) graduate Jamila Jane Uy Borlagdan and West Visayas State University-La Paz graduate Mylene Grace Dacula Gonzaga shared the second spot with a score of 86.80 percent.

Sharing the third spot are Ma. Stefanie Palencia Reyes of the University of the Philippines-Manila, Lace Paulyn Tan Rosaroso of UST, and Aina Fe Roldan Salem of UP-Manila.

Three schools shared the top spot in the list of 10 performing schools in this year’s examination: 

1.  West Visayas State University-La Paz,
2.  Cebu Normal University (Cebu State College)
3.  University of the Philippines-Manila.

 All three schools had a passing rate of 100 percent according to the PRC.

The rest of the top performing schools were the following:

•  Chinese General Hospital Colleges
•  Benguet State University-La Trinidad
•  University of Santo Tomas
•  Trinity University of Asia (Trinity-QC)
•  Saint Paul University-Dumaguete
•  Xavier University
•  Velez College
•  Cebu City Medical Center (CC Gen. Hosp.)
•  Saint Paul University-Manila.

The examination was given by the Board of Nursing in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Dagupan, Davao, Iloilo, Laoag, Legazpi, Lucena, Nueva Ecija, Pagadian, Pampanga, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga last month.

The members of the board are Carmencita M. Abaquin, Chairman; Leonila A. Faire, Betty F. Merritt, Perla G. Po, Marco Antonio C. Sto.Tomas, Yolanda C. Arugay and Amelia B. Rosales.
