Best Outdoor Destinations for Honeymooners

Best Outdoor Destinations for Honeymooners
Your big day is just around the corner and now it is time to plan your honeymoon, but the two of you are not your average couple. The two of you consider traveling around the globe, camping and backpacking much more romantic than spending thousands to stay in a "luxury resort."  For outdoor folks like yourself, here are some great outdoor honeymoon destinations.

Las Vegas
We know what you are thinking.  Las Vegas does not seem like a destination for outdoor people.  While it is true that Vegas is known more for poker games and blackjack than outdoor activities, the city is located close to numerous outdoor options.
The Grand Canyon is just a short trip from Las Vegas and as one of the natural wonders of the world offer a great opportunity for outdoor enthusiasts.  Just 35 miles from Vegas is Mt. Charleston, a natural habitat nestled right on the outskirts of the Vegas desert.  Hiking, camping, horseback riding, and skiing are all available on Mt. Charleston.  Be sure to get all your supplies before you head up as the Mountain does not have any gas stations or grocery stories once you head up.

Colorado
Outdoor enthusiasts looking for a prime spot in the United States to honeymoon at should consider the state of Colorado.  Couples are surrounded by views of both the Rockies and the San Juan Mountains and the natural beauty makes it one of the most scenic states in the US.

Whether you choose to honeymoon in Aspen, Crested Butte, Breckenridge, or Vail, you will find plenty of things to do outdoors such as hiking, biking, rafting, horseback riding, and some of the best skiing destinations in the world.

Jamaica

The natural beauty of Jamaica draws newlyweds from around the world to this island paradise.  Jamaica's scenic beaches are obviously a huge draw, but there are many water activities that couples can try together such as bamboo rafting trips, exploring the many caves of Jamaica, snorkeling, and more.

Yosemite
If a camping honeymoon is more to your liking, consider Yosemite National Park in California. With several campgrounds open year round and even at night, you can find something here for whenever you want to honeymoon.  Amazing waterfalls, beautiful meadows, majestic mountains, forests of giant sequoia trees, as well as the Merced River are all highlights of this trip.  Be sure to reserve your spot well in advance as this is a very popular destination for tourists.

GLOBE: All-unlimited Roaming For Postpaid Subscribers

GLOBE: All-unlimited Roaming For Postpaid Subscribers

My friend related to me how she was billed P74,000 by a telecom company when she went abroad early this year. That's a huge amount, even if you are rich it is not practical to pay that much especially if you have not really use that service right?

This bill shock problem that we all encounter is really a pain in the ^*%. I am glad that I was invited to a press conference yesterday by Telecommunications giant Globe Telecom where they unveiled one of the world’s first-ever all-unlimited roaming service covering calls, texts and mobile Internet, protecting its roaming subscribers from bill shock, or the high surge of charges on a postpaid bill.

The new product launched by Globe was dubbed All-Unli Roam. This product is a perfect solution to Filipino jet setter/ travel addicts/ Byahera like my friend.

So, without further ado, here is the mechanics:

From Oct. 11 to Nov. 12, 2012, Globe postpaid subscribers visiting Thailand can register to any of the roaming combos available.

Postpaid subscribers on roaming can subscribe to any of these unlimited roaming combo services to enjoy worry-free mobile connection:
  • $10 for the one-day variant for the Unlimited roaming mobile Internet is available.
  • $27 for the three-day variant.
  • $30 for the one-day variant for the unlimited roaming calls and mobile Internet combo.
  • $90 for the three-day variant.
  • $40 for the one-day variant for the unlimited roaming calls, texts, and mobile Internet combo
  • $120 for the three-day variant for the unlimited roaming calls, texts, and mobile Internet combo.
The all-unlimited roaming services will cover Globe postpaid subscribers on roaming in Thailand, covering all roaming partners in the country such as:
  • Advanced Info Service Public (AIS)
  • Total Access Communication (DTAC)
  • True Move Co. Ltd.
This will benefit subscribers as they don’t have to manually latch on to a specific partner-operator because the promo covers all local operators in Thailand.

According to Globe's International Business Group Head, Ms. Rizza Maniego-Eala, Globe already has the world widest roaming coverage with partnerships spanning across 200 countries and with more than 600 mobile operators across the globe.

She further explain that they also have the widest range of roaming offers and promos, with their unlimited roaming Internet promo available in 19 countries, and their PowerRoam offer which is fully consumable with up to 75 percent discount on roaming rates available in 16 destinations.
“We always strive harder to provide our subscribers, no matter where they are, with relevant and value-for-money offers that give them seamless and hassle-free connectivity across the world, allowing them to stay connected with people who matter most to them. Globe All-Unli Roam testifies to this commitment. With this pilot promo, Globe is gearing up to offer more innovative solutions covering more destinations in the future, as we continue to proactively address the needs of our traveler segment,” quips Rizza Maniego-Eala, head for International Business Group at Globe.

Thank you so much to Globe and Ms. Rizza for this innovative product. It was nice meeting you Madam.

BORACAY: Titos Resto & Grill Delicious Filipino Food

BORACAY: Titos Resto & Grill Delicious Filipino Food
I am a beach lover. And I know you'll agree with me that swimming in Boracay's wonderful beach is awesome. But after you get tired from swimming and playing in Boracay's pristine white sand what else will you be doing? As for us, we went for a food trip. One fine Filipino Restaurant that we tried in Boracay is Titos Resto and Grill. From the beach front of Station One (1), the area where we were billeted, we walked towards Station Two (2) where almost all of the restaurants are located. You will never miss the sign of Titos Resto and Grill which happens to be located at Station Two, just above Pat's Creek Bar.
We were so happy to find a restaurant and grill in Boracay that serves modern Filipino food which combines the casual comfort of a home-cooked meal with the relaxed sophistication of fine dining. We were happily ushered upstairs by a Titos employee to the second and third floors of the establishment.
We particularly like the second floor where TITOS offers panoramic window seating with a breathtaking view of the beachfront and where guests can relax and take in the cool, fresh air.
Comfortable weather-resistant banquette seating is also available for customers who are fresh from hanging out on the beach. Titos also offers air-conditioning for guests who want an oasis away from the heat outside.

TITOS also has a grill and lounge on the third floor where guests are offered a selection of fresh items which they can complement with over a dozen unique sauces to create the ideal meal. To top it all, customers can enjoy both privacy and the magnificent view of the sea while lounging in comfort.
So, when in Boracay, make your vacation completely amazing by dining at TITOS!
Never leave Boracay without eating at TITOS resto and grill, the cleanest and yummiest restaurant in Boracay!!

JAMBA JUICE: Now Juicing at SM North Edsa

JAMBA JUICE: Now Juicing at SM North Edsa
Finally, the long wait is over for those who lead an active lifestyles and those interested in healthy options but lives in the North of Manila. Yesterday, Sunday - October 7, 2012, Jamba Juice Philippines opened its 4th store at The Block of  SM City North EDSA. Huuray! Now, you can #LiveFruitfully, and be jamba-fied.

For health conscious individuals, you now have a meal option, you can now have your daily requirement of fruits and vegetables in one glass!  Jamba Juice offers smoothies made from fruits flash frozen right at the peak of ripeness. Woooot! I can still imagine the delicious taste of each glass of Jamba juice! Have you ever wonder why they called it Jamba? Jamba in Swahili means a celebration! And as a healthy lifestyle brand, Jamba Juice adopted a stealth vegetable approach for children and adults who don’t like to eat their greens.
I ought to buy this Jamba Juice merchandise!

At Jamba Juice opening with a new found Blogger friend.

Another plus factor that I find attractive at Jamba juice is their photobooth!

We did not waste the opportunity and took some photos at Jamba Juice Photobooth. Yes, repapeeps, you can send the photos to your e-mails to commemorate each visit you have at Jamba Juice.
Cha Sy with Sumi Go at Jamba Juice SM North Edsa.

To celebrate the grand opening of Jamba Juice they set up an active camp for a day. Where kids and kids at heart played, bike, jump, climb walls to their heart's content.

Did you know that Jamba Juice supports Guimaras? When you bike for 5 minutes, Jamba Juice will donate a tree on your behalf. I wanted to bike for an hour but I had to give chance to others.

My personal favorite is the Mega Mango and Mango-a-go-go. Because the mango they used came from our very own Guimaras Mango. Plus, I am so motivated with Jamba Juice one peso donation to Guimaras for every glass of Mango-a-go-go you purchase.
As if, it wasn't enough,Jamba Juice also prepared a program for everyone to see at SM North Edsa. And enticed the excited crowd to dance and sing with them. The crowd enjoyed the powerful dance number of this group.

Jamba-fied performance! Awww!
Gianmatteo Fernan Guidicelli or better known as Matteo Guidicelli is a Filipino-Italian actor, model, racer and singer. He is an avid fan of Jamba Juice. He said that since he is a triathlete he usually drop by Jamba Juice after his training to get his Jamba fix. He serenaded the crowd and this very lucky Jamba Juice staff.
The Zumba dancers that made the crowd moved to the beat!

Jamba Juice was founded in 1990 in San Luis Obispo, California, out of a vision to inspire and simplify healthy living.  As of April, 2012, Jamba Juice had 769 restaurant located globally. Last October 28, it opened its first store in Canada, followed two weeks later by its Philippine store, Jamba Juice’s first in Southeast Asia.
Ayan, fellow Northies! Sa Wakas Bukas na ang Jamba Juice sa SM North Edsa! Yahoo! Sugod na mga kapatid sa  2nd floor ng The Block! Go!

Banana Berry is what my other friends like, but I love mega mango and Mega-a-go-go so it is really up to your personal preference folks! Enjoy! God bless your heart!

More than 400 million all over the world watched this video.

Everyone is going crazy over this Gangnam Style by Psy! You could see this dance craze all over the internet and television, that even the prisoners in Cebu made and uploaded on You Tube their own version of Gangnam style.

After a two years hiatus, this is PSY coming back album. This is PSY's 6th album- 'PSY6甲'!

The album's weighty title song 'Gangnam Style' is composed solely by PSY himself from lyrics to choreography. The song is characterized by its strongly addictive beats and lyrics, and is thus certain to penetrate the foundations of modern philosophy.
