DOLPHY'S REMAINS IS NOW AT ABS-CBN

Dolphy's remains was brought to the Dolphy Theater in ABS-CBN at 1 p.m. today.

For those who would like to pay their last respect to the Comedy King. Public viewing will begin at 9 p.m. Wednesday until 2 a.m. of Thursday only.

His remains will be brought back to the Heritage Memorial Park afterwards, and public viewing there will be from Thursday to Saturday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

RESPECT

Manila Mayor Lim paid his last respect for Dolphy by issuing a memo, directing all departments to display the Philippine Flag in half mast.

Dolphy dies at 83. 

15 days short to his 84th birthday.

Dolphy, The Comedy King passed away this evening,at 8:34 P.M., Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at the Makati Medical Center due to multiple organ failure, secondary to complications brought about by severe pneumonia, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, and Acute Renal Failure.

Dolphy' s real name is Rodolfo Vera Quizon. He was born in Pampanga and was raised in Tondo.

 

I really feel sad. He gave us so much joy and laughter in times of trouble. I am really glad to have met him personally in Hong Kong on one of our summer vacations. I remember him as the ever smiling Mang Dolphy. He is now with my Dad and Mom in heaven. I bet they will be laughing together in heaven. Heaven will be a much happier place now with Mang Dolphy around.

Dolphy came from a very humble beginnings, and his admiration of comedians Pugo and Tugo influenced him to be a stage performer. His first screen name was Golay, and he used this name for his first movie with Fernando Poe Sr., the father of his friend the late action king Fernando Poe Jr.

Dolphy started his first career in a TV Show, Buhay Artista, at ABS-CBN with a talent fee of One thousand pesos. That was soon followed by many shows and movies.

Dolphy had 18 children to six different women. His last partner was actress Zsa Zsa Padilla.
  

The Filipino people will miss you! You have given so much Joy in our hearts.

Mo Twister Uploads Controversial Picture on Instagram

He did it again!

It seems like Mo Twister is always hungry for attention!

"Like" hungry Mo Twister posted a photo of a topless woman ready to strip it off on his Instagram account.

The woman has her back on the camera. She's only wearing a thin, flesh colored panties labeled with "like this" with the famous Facebook thumbs up emoticon. The TV host/radio jock said the woman was aware that the camera was on.

Mo Twister: Do the amount of "Likes" you get on your Instagram pics mean a lot to you? I have to admit, it's pretty important to me. I feel accomplished and popular when I get a lot of "Likes"...so, here, she's wearing a "Like this" underwear for you to "Like" and yes, she knew the camera was on! ;) 

Angelicopter vs. Rhian Ramos War on Twitter

It all started with this twitter message tweeted by Angelicopter:

"Now having Bfast in a nice hotel & front desk thought i was Kristine H & Rhian R. I said "thanks. I'm not. Khristine & I have babies," she posted on her twitter account last Friday, June 22, 2012.

Angelicopter's tweet didn't sit well with Rhian Ramos, who, only last year, had to parry accusations that she had an abortion, no thanks to Youtube videos uploaded by still unidentified individuals showing former boyfriend Mo Twister wailing about her having supposedly undergone the procedure.

The usually reserved Ramos retorted with a wry tweet, "nyek kailan naman kami ni Kristine pumangit, tumaba at nagpalagay ng silicone ng ganyan?" seemingly alluding to Schmeing, who was a poster girl for Vicki Belo's mammoplasty methods, having had breast augmentation.

To which TheAnglelicopter's reply:

Apparently, Mo Twister saw @TheAnglelicopter's tweets to @cybellise (the two girls were talking about @whianwamos' tweets). Since he wasn't aware of @whianwams' tweets, he asked @TheAnglelicopter:

Obviously already updated, Twister, who is currently in New York, tweeted a little later, "Just ignore her tweet. No big deal. Pls dont tweet or dare her for truth."

 

 

Not surprisingly, Angelicopter Schmeing, who is rumored to be dating the controversial radio and TV host , ignored the seeming insult and did as instructed, stopping her tirades against Ramos but not before posting a dig of sorts: "Masarap matulog ng malinis konsensiya."

@TheAnglelicopter stopped attacking @whianwamos, but replied to another Twitter follower:

 

Suddenly, @whianwamos apologized to @TheAnglelicopter: who is now reportedly dating Mo Twister's ex-best friend KC Montero, sent a direct message to Angelicopter Schmieng saying, "I wanna apologize for even making patol, I myself fueled this thing that didn't even need to happen. Best of luck to you."

Asked by a follower why she had to apologize to Schmeing, Ramos retorted, "wala, i know i didnt start it but it wasnt classy of me to reply. also i was embarrassed that my followers had to see me angry."

Not that Schmeing even cared. Angelicopter has yet to allow the actress the courtesy of a reply.

You could note that Angelicopter Schmeing was noticed a few years ago when she started sharing seeming bedroom anecdotes on air during question & answer's with Mo Twister, which led to her earning the moniker "Angelicopter." It was Mo Twister who asked her to pinch-hit for Magic DJ Grace Lee after Grace was injured in an accident.

The turn of luck allowed for Angelicopter Schmeing to start a career not only as DJ but as model and as contestant on "Survivor Philippines." Coincidentally, it was an altercation with Grace Lee early this year that is said to have gotten Schmeing booted out of the station though Magic 89.9 has already denied it citing vague reasons for the dismissal.

Let us Pray for Dolphy

Let us pray for the fast recovery and complete healing of Dolphy. 

Dolphy, the Comedy King, father, loving partner of Zsa Zsa Padilla is in the hospital  right now, fighting for his life. I hope we could say a little prayer for his recovery. 

Dolphy, who will mark his 84th birthday on July 25, 2012 was rushed to the hospital 13 days ago due to a chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), described as a “progressive illness.”

Eric Quizon said that his father had been in and out of consciousness, but he is still fighting and he hopes that we will still have him with them.

In an earlier interview with a newspaper, Eric Quizon said the family had not made big plans for his coming birthday because it all depends on his health.

My dad and I together with my uncle, aunt, cousins used to go to Hongkong during holy week. One summer, we fortunately bumped into Dolphy, Zsa Zsa, Vandolph and his two daughters with Zsa Zsa Padilla.

Yes, I met Dolphy personally in Hongkong. He is very kind and won't show any signs of pagkayamot or inis when a lot of Filipina Fans asked to be photograph alongside him, unlike his son Vandolph na isang bakol na ang mukha and even yelled at me when I took his picture with my dad. " Bilisan mo".

Like my Papa, Dolphy has gray eyes, both of them are kind and  they always have a ready  smile to everyone.

Dolphy made us laugh all these years. And I hope he will get well soon.

Sining, aliw at kagalakan ang hatid ng gabi ng pagbibigay pugay sa pinakamagagaling sa larangan ng pelikula. Ang ika-35 na taon ng Gawad Urian ay ginanap noong Miyerkules ng gabi, June 13,2012 sa AFP Theater, Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City.

Nagsilbing mga hosts sina Butch Francisco, Angel Aquino, Zoren Legaspi at Venus Raj at sinimulan ang programa sa awitin nina Frenchie Dy at Eric Santos.

Ang magarbong gabi ay dinaluhan ng pinakamalalaking artista. Naghandog naman ng makabayang awitin ang  pinakamagagaling na mang-aawit ng bansa. 

Sa kinalaunan ng gabi naihayag din ng mga presenters at ng mga miyembro ng Manunuri ang mga nagwagi sa Gawad Urian. Dalawa sa pinakamagaling na aktor ng kanilang henerasyon ang nagwagi ng pinaka-aabangang papuri.

 

Tinanggap ni Paulo Avelino ang parangal para sa Pinakamahusay na Pangunahing Aktor para sa pelikulang “Ang Sayaw ng Dalawang Kaliwang Paa” habang tinanggap ni Maja Salvador ang parangal para sa Pinakamahusay na Pangunahing Aktres para sa pelikulang “Thelma”.

Emosyonal nilang tinaggap ang mga papuri at malaki ang kanilang pasasalamat sa gawad. Napaluha si Salvador sa tuwa habang yapos ang kanyang tropeo.

 “Sa mga manunuri, maraming salamat sa pagtitiwala at sa pagkilala sa lahat ng binuhos ko sa Thelma,” ani niya.

Samantalang pinasalamatan naman ni Avelino ang lahat ng may-akda sa mala-tulang pelikulang, “Ang Sayaw ng Dalawang Kaliwang Paa”. “Kung wala po kayo, ay wala rin po ako dito. Marami pong salamat,” ani ng aktor.

Pinakamaraming natanggap na parangal mula sa Manunuri ng Pelikulang Pilipino ang pelikulang “Ang Sayaw ng Dalawang Kaliwang Paa” Nakuha nito ang Best Screenplay (Alvin Yapan), Best Supporting Actress (Jean Garcia), Best Cinematography (Arvin Viola), at Best Music (Christine Muyco at Jema Pamintuan).

MADONNA FLASHES NIPPLE AT ISTANBUL CONCERT

Madonna's fans in Istanbul, Turkey, got an unexpected surprise/shock Saturday night when the 53-year-old singer pulled her top down and flashed her right breast to the crowd.

The Material Girl was in the middle of her 1995 single "Human Nature" when she exposed her nipple in an even more blatant and intentional wardrobe malfunction than Justin Timberlake and Janet Jackson's Nipplegate controversy at Super Bowl XXXVIII in 2004.

The singer appeared to be playing the crowd while dancing on stage and performing a striptease in which she removed her shirt and a support strap before sauntering to the front of the stage and pulling down the right cup of her bra.

The crowd of 55,000 went wild with a roar of approval and when she turned around the words "No Fear" were temporarily tattooed across her back. The singer also went on to put her hand down her pants before singing her megahit "Like A Virgin."

CCTV Video of Filipina Rape Victim with the Panamanian Diplomat

A closed-circuit television Video of the Panamanian diplomat accused of raping a 19-year-old Filipina, and the alleged Filipina Rape Victim's CCTV video is making the rounds on the internet.

The CCTV was allegedly taken inside the Panamanian Makati apartment. The Panamanian Diplomat has denied the allegations in a press statement. Erick Shcks, a technical officer of the Panama Maritime Authority, said he engaged in sexual intercourse with the complainant "Pamela" (not her real name) last April 23 but stressed that the act was consensual. Shcks dispelled allegations that he drugged the Pinay teen and forced her to have sex with him.

Shcks left the country last May 11, 2012 and was declared persona non grata by the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA). Shcks’s departure drew the ire of Senators Loren Legarda and Vicente Sotto III, who believed that the Panamanian rape suspect should not have been allowed to go scot-free. The DOJ said that Schks may be tried for the alleged rape once the Panamanian government waives his diplomatic immunity.

American pop superstar Lady Gaga arrived in Manila Saturday night, May 19, 2012 at around 7:30 p.m.for her two-day “Born This Way” concert.

Airport authorities said the controversial singer arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport on board a private plane around 7:30 p.m.

Derek Ramsay confirmed on Twitter his Break up with Angelica Panganiban

Derek Ramsay has finally confirmed that he and Angelica Panganiban had ended their six-year relationship.

Derek Ramsay tweeted on Monday: “Guys we truly appreciate all ur concerns. Even though Angel and I are no longer together we still have the utmost respect for one another.”

The Kapatid hunk also appealed for understanding from his fans on behalf of the Kapamilya actress who, rumors say, has found a new love in ABS-CBN matinee idol John Lloyd Cruz.

To it’smelagreta, he pleaded: “Huwag n’yo naman bastusin si Angel.” 

To addicted2mk, he explained why he remains protective of his ex-girlfriend: “Angel has always been supportive of everything I do.”

@justAfan08 I'm not proud of the breakup! How I wish things were different. I can't be selfish and consider only my feelings.

It seems the breakup happened around the time Derek signed up with TV5 and left ABS-CBN, where Angelica remains a contract star.

Derek has steadfastly denied speculations that a third party on either side was involved. He also dismissed the rumor linking him to Sam Pinto.

Speculations of a breakup started last  April 29, 2012 after Derek failed to mention Angelica’s name when he accepted his Box Office King award at the Guillermo Mendoza Awards.

He admitted then that he and Angelica were having a rough time in their relationship.

“Angel and I are working things out. We’re talking. May pinagdadaanan kami,” Derek revealed after the awarding ceremonies.

He hinted at a happy resolution by saying, “Pinagdaanan na rin namin ito before. So we’ll see. ‘Pag nag-usap na kami doon kami magsasalita.”

Two days later, he sent Angelica this intriguing tweet: “Be strong. We all know who you are and that there is no truth to what’s being said. I’m here for you if you ever need anything.”

Angelica Panganiban  just ignored the tweet and did not issued any statement regarding the breakup and the rumors linking her to John Lloyd.
